Tracking the Flights Live on Google Maps

Its sounds strange that whether tracking an Flying Airplanes live is possible? but its now possible on Google Maps. The Casper has add the brilliant maps tracking system to see the Airplane flying in and out of the Amsterdam Airport. It is now only configured in the Amsterdam Airport but can be "configured for any airport."

The Airplanes are colored to get identified with the name of Airlines to which it belongs but also changes its colors to  show the direction and its altitude change.

You can have the real time track like checking the speed and height by just putting the mouse pointer on the Airplane icon. Again, if you want to check the previous day's flight movement then click the "Replay" button and the Previous day's flight movements of Schipol Airport will be in front of your screen.

The service requires a Flash based browser.

This Tracking of Flights is really interesting but can be dangerous in many ways.

Recieve the latest Articles on the Topic you want through Emails from the Google Alerts

If you are a blogger and you are searching for a Topic in which you are going to write an article but the problem you face is the lack of latest article notification. As a result you are visiting different blogs related to your topic for gathering information or the latest news and spending a huge time uselessly!!

So i suggest you to use Google Alert to keep updated about the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic.

For example: My blog is on the category "Google", therefore i added the search keyword "google" over the Alert option. Choose the amount of results you want and the number of mails in a day...

It is not only for the blogger but also for those who loves to read the latest articles on their favorite topic. They can simply receive the latest relevant Google results over their inbox on daily basis.

I found this Google Tool really effective and is now receiving updates. :) Have a try...

What are Unofficial Blog of Google?

The Unofficial Google Blog means that The Blogs which are written and maintained by the bloggers and are not anyway connected to Google Office. The articles published on an Unofficial Google blog is not written by the Google Officially Staff or is not the direct message of the Official Announcement.

These Unofficial blog are an extra information gathered about Google's new products or services. Like other blog, these blogs writes on the Topic of "Google". They write about all those things, they discover over the Google's Official Blogs or some bloggers perform experiments to write their blog post.

Knowing about Google from an Unofficial Source -Image by Flickr

These types of unofficial blogs, sometimes writes about different sites which are related to Google but which Google Official Blogs don't do because they only writes about everything under the Google Services or products.

Should these Unofficial blog should be trusted?
Ya, i think they can be trusted because they generally don't release the wrong information... They first research about anything new or existing product of google and gather the most real information before writing about it...

There are some Unofficial blogs about Google, which daily shares their news, valuable tips and tricks with its daily readers. The best of them is the GoogleSystem Blog, which is an unofficial blog about Google but daily post very effective writing about Google. According to the Feedburner Stat, this blog is having readers of around 108K readers and which show the number of readers trust that blog.Google System blog started in the year 2005 by William Gibson and in the time period 5 years, it reached to millions of Readers.

Similarly another blog called Blogoscoped, which is the main inspiration of the Google System blog. GoogleSystemBlog wrote over their about me page - "This blog was inspired by Philipp Lenssen's Google Blogoscoped, the best blog about Google, and still exists because of a surprisingly popular April Fool's Day joke."  This blog tells that they share 80 percent of their writings about Google.

Therefore, Google Tasks is another such blog which is written by Arijit Das on daily basis. Arijit is a Pure Google Lover and he is writing about anything he discover online about the Google- it might be any tricks or tips, might be any service provided by Google or might be any new launched product of Google.

Why we gave the name GoogleTasks to our blog?
This is because, we are keeping our eyes on the Google's Daily Tasks and writes about that product to inform the Google users about it.

I think that this brief description about Google Unofficial blog really gave you a basic idea of how Google Official Blogs are different from Unofficial Blogs.

What is the Google Guru?

While looking at the Google's Services, a user discovered a new service option called "Google Guru" but it is not existing at the moment. The service link to the URL guru.google.com/guru/ . According to the deep study, we can predict it a "Question and Answer Site by Google" but earlier there was such service of Google called Google Answer, which later became a paid service and at last, the service got shut down.

Why "Guru" is given to the service name?
Actually, "Guru" is a term used in Indian language and is used to reffer to those person who is having huge knowledge, wisdom and authority in a particular field and he is too sharing his knowledge with others, as a result many people follows him.

So, the "Guru" is given the service name because here the online users can gather knowledges from the wise-users (Gurus). All they need to do is "Ask Question and Recieve the helpful Answers from the wise-users "Gurus".

Did this service started in any other country?
It still didn't came in English but already launched in Thailand. They are got the Guru service of Google with a Green color Question mark "?" over its favicon and the URL is guru.google.co.th/guru/ is now live in a Non-English language. The whole site template is in Green Color.

Google is also having another Question Answer service called Google Groups but it didn't touched the daily life of the online users. Lets see this new service can attract the users more than Google Group. We are waiting for the launch of the Google Guru to recieve all our unanswered questions directly from the online Gurus....

Google stepped toward the URL Shortener Services

Since the starting of the Twitter link sharing ideas... Many URL shortener service provider like Bit.ly, tinyurl.com, etc came in force. We are mainly using bit.ly URLs for sharing links and now we will be using goo.gl for sharing links. Unlike bit.ly, is.gd sharing link is not directly open to everyone.

For sharing the attractive goo.gl you need to use Google's Products and Toolbars. Why Google added such a URL shortener service? Actually, twitter is the now considered to be the most populated place over the web with millions of visitors per day and more than 5,000+ tweets in per second. Most of the tweet over the Twitter is consists of links with the very high impressions, so Google is thinking to provide a very Hi-Quality Short URL service the Daily Twitterers who love to tweet the best links.

What are the benefits a Goo.gl URL users get?
Google officially announced the 3 reasons for using its short url service:
Stability – ensuring that the service has very good uptime
Security – protecting users from malware and phishing pages
Speed – fast resolution of short URLs

Whenever we are talking about Google Product, this means its must be something special because Google creates the best over the web, it may be anything- Search, Applications, Software, Operating System.

From the above mentioned 3 reasons i like the Security most because as twitter gaining more audience, it is attacked by a number of phishing, spam, and malwares, which now Google is going to stop with its HiQuality Secure URL Service.

Do this service came in action? Yes, it came in action and i told earlier that it only works on the Products of Google and its Toolbar.

How to add the service to my Twitter?
If you are having a blog and you are using Feedburner, then connect your Twitter account to it for auto-update of your Tweets with the Unique short URL of the Google "Goo.gl".

The Following are the Instructions to set up the Feedburner with the Twitter:

There you will find an option called "Add your Twitter account".
First check your needed option and see the Preview of the Tweets and then connect your Twitter account with Google.
After connection, just active it... Its now activate, it all you need to do. Start Using the new URL service of Google "goo.gl".

You can even add your tag over the Hash text box. It will automatocally create a Tag like #yourtag on your tweets...
